Charles A. Wilson died at his home on East Howard St a little after noon on Tuesday. The direct cause of his death was pulmonary tuberculosis with which he has been confined to his bed for the past 6 weeks. Two years ago he was operated on for a tubercular growth in his throat and has since been an invalid.

Funeral services at the home on Thursday afternoon were conducted by Rev. J. B. Johnson. Burial at Union Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson was born near Russellville Aug 1, 1872. He attended the old Hebron school. He married Mary Hickman Aug 1, 1897. To them were born 14 children, nine of whom are living: Lula, Jessie M, Olive A, Minnie J, Mary E, Alice Lee, Robert, Ruby, Doyne and William Olin.

With the exception of a year in Brazil the family made their home in or near Waveland. Mr. Wilson joined the Christian Church at Russellville Oct 5, 1889, afterwards moving his membership to Waveland. He was honest and industrious and always cheerful in spite of his afflictions.

Besides the children mentioned above he is survived by his wife and two brothers: Warner of Mecca and Fred of Sedalia, Mo.
